Support Carthage Students' Journey to the Stratford Theatre Festival!

In 2023, Carthage proudly revived a beloved tradition: our annual trip to the world-renowned Stratford Theatre Festival in Ontario, Canada. This tradition began under Carthage English Professor Don Michie, a noted Shakespeare scholar, and continued through the dedicated efforts of Professor Maria Carrig. After a COVID hiatus, Professor Alyson Kiesel revived the trip with great success — a reminder of how deeply impactful this experience is for our students.

Beyond the stage, participants stroll along the Avon River, savor chocolate at Rheo Thompson, browse Fanfare Books, and share lively conversations over meals with fellow travelers. It's more than just a trip; it's a celebration of learning, community, and culture.

Now we need your help to keep this tradition alive.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to rebuild the reserve fund, which was depleted during COVID, and to offer scholarship support so more students can take part in this life-changing opportunity.

Your gift will help ensure that cost is never a barrier for students eager to immerse themselves in the arts, deepen their learning, and form lasting connections.

Join us in making Stratford memories possible for the next generation of Carthaginians!
